Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for CPA firms
Chris Zingalli has a nice piece on Robotic Process Automation for CPA firms on AccountingToday, including a concise use case for how it might be used in an audit application.
Through our parent, MResult, we’ve been doing RPA for awhile now using a product called UIPath. It’s an extremely useful technology but not a “magic bullet.” We look at it as one technique among many that all center around improving process, and “shifting to higher value work.” (more about that here.)
